Davide Bellone: .NET Backend Developer and Microsoft MVP
Ciao, I’m Davide Bellone, a backend developer from Turin, Italy, and the author of Code4IT.
I’ve been working with .NET and C# since 2014. Today I’m a Principal Backend Developer, and since 2022 I’ve been recognized as a Microsoft MVP 🏆 in the Developer Technologies category.
My journey as a developer
My journey with Microsoft platforms and frameworks began in 2014. I kicked things off as a SharePoint developer, then transitioned to ASP.NET MVC 5, .NET APIs, Angular, and finally embraced my true calling as a full-fledged backend developer.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of tools and frameworks, including Azure, SQL, MongoDB, Docker, and, of course, .NET and C#. Lately, I’ve been focusing on software architecture, testing strategies, and AI agents with the Microsoft Agent Framework.
Code4IT, this blog
I’m passionate about learning new things, and I firmly believe that sharing knowledge is the best way to learn. That’s why, in 2018, I started Code4IT.
Since then, I’ve published more than 200 articles about .NET, C#, Azure, testing, clean code, and software architecture: in-depth articles, C# tips, Clean Code tips, and Code and Architecture Notes. You can browse all of them in the archive.
Public speaking
Since 2019, I’ve given more than 25 talks at conferences and user groups, both in Italy and abroad, including:
- WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2024
- Dotnet Developer Days 2025, in Warsaw
- .NET Conference Italia 2023 and 2024
- Global Azure Torino, WinterTech, and Cloudgen Verona
- user groups in Austria, Sweden, the UK, and South Africa
